Understanding process of the textile filter cloth

1.Textile filter cloth is woven with three different types of yarn: single fiber (single strand of yarn), multifilament filament (fixed-length fiber yarn) and staple fibers (multi strand yarn).Monofilament is a diameter of 0.16-0.32 (in some places even 1) single filament which usually are drawn with synthetic fiber. The filter cloth which is woven with monofilament have many advantages like filte cloth has a smooth surface, small space is pure, specific resistance is smaller, clogging is the smallest, easy to clean and has best slag discharge performance ect. But the monofilament filter cloth easy to capture the particles diameter trap, it is unfavorable used when the filtration is precision. The separation effect of monofilament filter cloth is affected when we separate the suspending which have wide particle size distribution.The multifilament filament yarn is twist yarn produced with two strands of twisting spinning. The filter cloth which is woven with multifilament filament yarn has a good tensile strength. The performance of intercept particles is better than monofilament, but the slat discharge ability is poor.  Staple fibers is twist yarn produced using natural cotton, wool fiber or synthetic staple fiber strand twist . It has good performance of particle entrapment and good sealing because it has villous fiber. But the disadvantage is that the pore easy have been congested by the particles.Cleaning and slag discharge performance is poor.
   2.The weave of the filter cloth has three types: plain, twill and satin.In general, the structure of plain filter cloth is thick, the pore is small, so the particle entrapment and filtrate clarified degree is high, service life is long, the price also is cheaper. The disadvantage is that the specific resistance is larger, easy to jam, slag discharge performance is poor.The satin filter cloth has largest porosity ,  specific resistance is small, not easy to jam, slag discharge performance is good.But the intercept ability of filter cloth is low, filter leakage is serions,  filtering effect is poor. Every performance of the twill filter cloth is in the middle. The friction resistance of filter cloth is very strong, filtration velocity is big  , service life is long. So the twill filter cloth is widely used.
   3.The processing after filter cloth have been woven
   In order to improve the filtering characteristics,  the physical and mechanical properties of filter cloth, we can make precision work after the filter cloth have been woven. The processing method are as follows:
   Calender: Put the fabric filter cloth under the hot roller and rolling, the fabric surface will be smooth,  reduce the pore space between cloth yarn  in order to improve the ability of filter cloth to capture particles and discharge slag particles. The strength of filter cloth will be reduce after the calender.
  Gigging: We brush one side of the fabric filter cloth with micro gear steel comb in order to the yarn bundle on fiber filter cloth surface produces fine soft hairs in oredr to improve the ability of intercept tiny particles, improve the separation effect, improve the clarity of the filtrate.
   Hot rolling processing:This is limited to synthetic fiber filter cloth, the purpose is to improve the thermal stability and mechanical strength of the filter cloth, make it more suitable operation for high temperature.Especially the filter cloth which is woven with   monofilament must be carry the hot rolling processing.
