How to choose the suitable filter cloth for our own industry

When we choose the filter cloth for filter press ,we need according to our request and the nature of the filtering material, namely material stripping, Chemical properties ,physical properties;the filtered cake dry and so on, let's one by one .

In the first, The most important thing is to consider the nature of the filtering material, its importance factors accounted for more than 75% in the selection of filter cloth.

A, Stripping performance of residue will be directly affects the working efficiency of the filter press .If the residue is smooth surface and no adhesive type, the filtrate will quickly passing out from the filter cloth. Filtering time is short and have high efficiency. On the contrary, if the residue is adhesive, the filtering time will change much longer.  The efficiency of course will reduce accordingly. And the more the adhesive is strength, the lower the efficiency is.Then we will choose monofilament filter cloth or satin woven filter cloth.
B, According to the chemical characteristics of filtrate like acid and  alkali to choose. According different degree of acid and alkali to choose suitable types of filter cloth.Resistance to most acidic is polyester filter cloth. Resistance to most alkaline is whalen filter cloth. Both resistance to most acidic  and alkaline  is polypropylene filter cloth.
C, The shape of the filter residue.We consider the wear resistance of the filter cloth according whether the particles of filter residue is evenly and the shape is hard.  If the filter residue have vary in size and corer angle , we will  according to different degree of choice to choose. The best wear-resisting property is from Polyester filter cloth and nylon filter cloth

D,The temperature of the filtrate. The temperature of filtrate  will   influence the work efficiency of filter cloth. The highest temperature resistance  is from  Polyester filter cloth.

The second,we have my own request. We need that the high efficiency of the filter press and get the dry filter residue. About the regenerability of the filter cloth,we also notice choose the filter cloth have the good regenerability . The filter cloth of good regenerability  can be directly washing the filter cloth on the filter machine and reduce the time of change filter cloth.  The filtration efficiency of filter cloth which have been changed will  restore more than 80% filtration efficiency  after a simple processing.
